App Privacy Policy

The short version
The JCW Lunacy app shares one account and one database with the website at jcwlunacy.net. If you create an account, your email address, your Locker (points, wins, badges, cards, picks, history), and anything you post — chat messages, wall posts, direct messages between moderators — are stored on our servers, run on Google Firebase, and are visible to other people using the app and the website.
You can use most of the app without an account: episodes, roster, events, news, merch links and the arcade all work signed out. Until you sign in, your Locker lives only on your phone.
You can delete your account and everything attached to it from inside the app at any time.
What we collect, and why
Your email address, when you create an account. It exists so you can sign in on any device and recover your password. It is never shown to other users.
Your Locker. Points, wins, badges, the cards you own, your event picks, your chosen chat name, your favorite wrestlers, your entrance theme, your profile picture choice, how many episodes you've watched, and your recent activity history. This is the same record the website uses, so your progress follows you between phone and browser. Your chat name, points, badges, favorites and card collection appear on your public locker page and on the leaderboard. Your email does not.
What you post. Chat messages, wall posts on other users' pages, poll votes, gifts and trade offers, and — for moderators — direct messages. Chat and wall posts are public to everyone in the app and on the site.
Activity needed to run the features. An online/offline heartbeat while you're signed in and using the app, and a count of how many times each episode has been played (a total per episode, not a record of who played what).
We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or trackers. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or files.
Who can see what
Other users see your public locker page: chat name, points, wins, badges, favorites, card collection, wall posts, and whether you're online. Moderators can additionally delete chat messages and wall posts, and can message each other.
The data is stored in Google Firebase (Authentication and Realtime Database), operated by Google as our service provider. Google's handling of it is covered by Google's own privacy policy.
Deleting your account
In the app: Locker → Account → Delete Account. That permanently deletes your sign-in account and removes your Locker, notifications, gifts, trade offers, relationships and moderator message index from our database. It cannot be undone.
Chat messages and wall posts you already sent may remain visible, because they're part of other people's conversations. If you want those removed too, ask us using the contact details below and we'll remove them.
If you'd rather not do it in the app, you can request deletion at jcwlunacy.net/app-delete-account.html or by email, and we'll handle it.
On-device storage and backups
Your Locker is also cached on your phone so the app works offline. If you have Android's system backup switched on, that cached copy may be included in your own Google account backup — controlled by you in your device settings, not by us. Signing out or deleting your account clears the copy on the device.
Links out of the app
Tapping an episode, a merch item or a social link opens YouTube, psychopathicrecords.com, psychopathicvault.com, juggalogathering.com, or a social network. Those are run by other companies under their own privacy policies. The app doesn't tell them anything about you beyond the ordinary web request your browser or the target app makes.
Children
The app is intended for users 13 and older, consistent with jcwlunacy.net, and it is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Wrestling content can include storyline violence and language. Chat is moderated and includes a language filter, reporting, and blocking, but it is live conversation between real people.
Community safety
Every chat message can be reported to moderators, and you can block any account from inside the app — blocked accounts' messages and wall posts stop appearing for you. Moderators can remove messages and posts. Hard slurs are filtered automatically.
Changes
If a future version collects anything not described here, this policy and the Play Data safety form will be updated before that version ships.
